Custom routes on the Sil River:
These are our most popular routes, but they can always be adapted to your group or type of event.

Upriver toward A Cubela
Reservoir conditions permitting, we can sail north as far as A Cubela, a wilder, less-traveled stretch. This area, prized for its scenic value, served as a refuge for makis (anti-Francoist guerrillas) during the post-war years. Ideal if you're interested in history or looking for a more intimate encounter with the landscape.
Downriver: viewpoints, rock formations, and Santa Cristina.
Heading south, the route passes through some of the Sil's most iconic stretches: unique rock formations, canyon viewpoints, and privileged views of the Santa Cristina de Ribas de Sil Monastery, a hidden gem tucked among centuries-old chestnut trees. A one-way route between Abeleda and Santo Estevo.
One-way tour to Santo Estevo.
A different kind of option: sailing one-way from Abeleda to the Santo Estevo pier. It's a quiet, contemplative journey, perfect for those seeking calm, disconnection, and unhurried enjoyment of the landscape. Ideal for photographers, zen groups, or nature retreats.
A full day: catamaran, food, wine and a walk.
Thanks to our direct collaboration with other local projects, we can put together complete day experiences:
Catamaran tour on the Sil
Guided visit and tasting at Adega Cruceiro
Traditional meal at A Cantina de Doade
Ride on the Aba Sacra tourist train
All in a single day, perfectly coordinated, with the option to adjust timings to match your group's pace.
Ideal for organized groups, agencies, events, or travelers looking for a complete Ribeira Sacra experience.

Themed tours: one route, one story
Not every group is looking for the same thing. That's why we offer the option to design a route with a specific theme, ideal for those who want to dive deeper into a particular aspect of the Ribeira
Our guide — a true expert on the area and a passionate storyteller — tailors the tour's content to the group's interests, blending scenery, history, and local knowledge.
Available themes:
Vineyards and heroic viticulture: how vines are grown on impossibly steep terraces, and what makes Ribeira Sacra wine unique.
Geology and formation of the Sil Canyon: learn about the processes that carved out this unique landscape.
Local flora and fauna: ideal for school groups, nature lovers, or environmentally-minded travelers.
Hidden heritage: Traditions, legends, and traditional trades.
We can also combine two themes into a single route, or create a fully custom proposal based on your group's profile (cultural, technical, educational, or recreational).
